This guy had such a bright blue shell - he looked like a tiny Christmas ornament.

Rain turns to Green

One of the things I missed the most when I lived in the mid west was watching the sidewalks and white concrete pillars slowly turn green as the rainy season of summer came to a head. It seems to be a southern phenomena.The strength of nature seeping over to camouflage what is man made.


I find it beautiful.
